JERSEY CITY, NJ - Six members of the Saint Peter's College women's bowling team were recently honored nationally with academic accolades for the 2009-10 season.
Tristan Howey (SPC '10), senior Amanda Borger, junior Vicky Alaimo, and sophomores Michele DeVries, Kelly Odom, and VJ Turner have been named 2010 Brunswick and National Tenpins Coaches Association All-Academic Honorees. A total of 110 student-athletes who compete in NCAA women's bowling were so honored, achieving a 3.4 grade point average or higher during the 2009-10 academic year.






Tristan Howey, Amanda Borger, Vicky Alaimo, Michele DeVries, Kelly Odom, and VJ Turner have been named
2010 Brunswick and National Tenpins Coaches Association All-Academic Honorees.
In addition to their academic achievements in the 2009-10 school year, the six helped lead the Bowling Peahens to their best season since joining the NCAA seven years ago, posting a winning record (61-51) for the first time as well as winning their first NCAA tournament (2009 Beach Open hosted by ECSU).
